IIEE Mission Statement

To develop strategic partnerships with organizations and institutions that focus on education and/or workforce or economic development in order to assist in creating an environment that is conducive to the growth of entrepreneurship in Illinois, with an emphasis on underserved and disadvantaged populations.

IIEE is celebrating 21 years of forging the link between education and business!

Over the last 21 years, IIEE has created hundreds of young leaders, supported the launch of area small businesses and bridged the gap between education and entrepreneurship.

We would love for you to celebrate with us at our 21st Anniversary Luncheon, as we reflect on the achievements of IIEE and honor those who have helped IIEE become the dynamic organization that it is today.

Get previews and highlights on the 2009 IIEE Young Entrepreneurs Conference with conference host, Demi Lobo

The 2009 IIEE Young Entrepreneurs Conference is quickly approaching, May 30-April 2.  This conference is where you will find some of the biggest and brightest young entrepreneurs from across the country and this year, we've gone international with students coming from Quebec, Canada and Mexico City, Mexico!

Our theme this year is "Tech Your Business to the Next Level".  We'll be focusing on technology and how you can use it to build and grow your business.  There will be workshops on blogging, YouTube, creating websites, office technology solutions and using social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter to enhance advertising and marketing for your business.  There will also be plenty of fun activities, such as business competitions, The Business Showcase,  The Verbal Escape Open Mic, Networking Extravaganza 2K9 and other fun games and activities.
